IELTS is a long test. It takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete the Listening, Reading and Writing sections without any break in between. So, make sure you have taken rest and eaten properly to keep your concentration intact throughout the test.
Make sure you know how long it takes to go to your test centre. Don’t be late, or you will not be allowed to enter the exam room.
You should take two pens, pencils and erasers just in case one of them stops working. For speaking, you can take nothing into the room except your ID.
There will be a clock in the exam room. One cannot take a watch in your test centre. Make sure you know where it is before your test starts so you can keep checking it in your reading and writing test.
You can take a drink into the exam room as long as it is in a transparent bottle.
Make sure you go into your test with a clear aim and an understanding of the techniques by being calm and confident all time.
